Thanks to Hurricane Sandy, the networks have been shuffling programming around all week. One of the more unusual switches saw Thursday night's "30 Rock" episode get bumped up one night, airing on Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET instead. NBC decided to re-air Monday's episode of "The Voice" during the Thursday night comedy block, but as this was Part 2 of an election-themed episode, they decided "Rock" couldn't wait until next week after the election was over.
So fans got to see how Jenna would decide the fate of the free world a full day early. In last week's episode, both Jack and Liz realized that Jenna could swing the entire election as the only place in the country up for grabs was northern Florida, and Jenna has a huge following there.
They spent the half-hour battling one another to try and win her vote. Through narcissistic Jenna-centric logic, both Jack and Liz manipulated her through flattery and even a bizarre mock debate. Jenna clearly had no clue who was even running, so she was their puppet -- but in a way, they were her puppets, too.
