Jason Mecier's Big Bird Breakfast Cereal Mosaic Debuts After Mitt Romney's Presidential Debate Comment Oct 7th 2012, 15:30 Mitt Romney on Wednesday night unleashed a fury across America when, while speaking at the first presidential debate of 2012, he said would stop the subsidy to the Public Broadcasting Station even though he claimed "I love Big Bird." Moments later it seemed there was no where you could turn without seeing the famed "Sesame Street" character or hearing his name being dropped. An 8-year-old Big Bird fan wrote a scathing letter to Romney, a new account, @FiredBigBird, popped up on Twitter, and a version of Shepard Fairey's famous "Hope" poster premiered with the word "Help" written beneath the beloved feathered character's face. Now artist Jason Mecier, most famous for his celebrity portraits made out of trash provided by the stars themselves, is adding his own whimsical take on the controversy. Read More... More on LGBT
