Honey Boo Boo Doesn't Like Being On TV, Hates Fans Encounters (VIDEO) Oct 22nd 2012, 20:53 The spotlight may love Honey Boo Boo, but apparently the 7-year-old reality star is growing tired of living life under it. In an interview with HLN's Dr. Drew, Alana Thompson, the star of "Here Comes Honey Boo Boo," awoke from pretending to be asleep to declare that she doesn't like being on TV. Why? "Because fans come up to me and I hate it," Alana said. Alana and Mama June, who's also known as 'Coupon Queen,' did a media blitz on a recent trip to Los Angeles. The duo stopped by "Jimmy Kimmel Live" where Alana proclaimed Barack Obama as her pick for president, responded to a viral Christopher Walken video and filmed at Lisa Vanderpump's Villa Blanca.
