KANSAS CITY, Mo. -- Miguel Cabrera plans to start at third base the final two games of the regular season as the Detroit Tigers star pursues the first Triple Crown in 45 years.
Manager Jim Leyland asked Cabrera before Tuesday night's game in Kansas City whether he wanted to DH or even sit out one of the remaining games, but Cabrera said he preferred to be in the lineup when the Tigers took on the Royals.
