Apple-Samsung Lawsuit: Apple Targets 4 Additional Products
Sep 1st 2012, 03:06

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Seeking to capitalize on a major legal victory over its rival Samsung Electronics Ltd, Apple Inc has asked a federal court in a separate case to find that four additional Samsung products, including the Galaxy S III, infringe Apple's patents.
In February, Apple alleged that at least 17 Samsung products infringe its patents. In a court filing made in San Jose federal court on Friday, Apple added four more products to the list of allegedly infringing products that have been released beginning in August 2011 and continuing through this month.
Apple won a major victory over Samsung last Friday in a separate case when a jury found that the South Korean company had copied critical features of the hugely popular iPhone and iPad and awarded the U.S. company $1.05 billion in damages.
Samsung representatives did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
The case is U.S. District Court, Northern District of California, Apple Inc v. Samsung Electronics Ltd, et al 12-00630.

By Jim McCabe, Golfweek NORTON, Mass. – No, it's not one of his playgrounds – not like Firestone or Bay Hill, Augusta or Muirfield Village – but clearly there's not much about TPC Boston that leaves Tiger Woods mystified.

Obama's Chair Responds To Clint Eastwood At RNC (VIDEO)
Aug 31st 2012, 23:42

Clint Eastwood's bizarre, rambling speech to an empty chair that was meant to represent President Obama at the Republican National Convention has been roundly mocked, but one voice has been left out of the conversation: The chair itself.

After all, Clint made that chair look like a fool in front of a national audience last night. And what's worse, as we learn in this video, he didn't even give the chair the courtesy of a live mic.

Austin-based comedy collective Humordy quickly turned around this video showing Americans what they should have heard, and that maybe the guy who made "J. Edgar" should climb off his high horse. Watch the revelatory video above.

CNN's Erin Burnett Makes Misleading Claims About Federal Reserve
Sep 1st 2012, 02:30

CNN anchor Erin Burnett claimed Friday that the Federal Reserve is spending money wastefully, but that's not exactly true.

"$1 million per job. That's what America's top money man says we've spent on stimulus from the Fed alone," Burnett said on her CNN show "OutFront" on Friday.

"That is not a cheap cost per job," Burnett said. "For those who are keeping track, we are not counting the president's extra $2 trillion or so in stimulus in that money. Just the Fed's money divided by the number of jobs."

The 50-year-old singer, songwriter, choreographer, dancer and television personality talks to HuffPost LA about being discovered by The Jacksons, having a head for business and the best piece of advice she's ever been given.

We have decided that you are the ultimate Angeleno: you went to Cal State Northridge, started off as a Laker Girl and then were discovered by The Jacksons at a game. What was it like being a Laker Girl at that time? I'll always be an Angeleno. I love Los Angeles. And I will always love the Lakers! I have deep roots at The Forum…it's where I started my career. It was such an exciting time to be a Laker Girl. Just being in the company of incredible, mega-superstar athletes like Kareem Abdul Jabbar, Kurt Rambis, Byron Scott…all those guys. During the game, I'd see these big stars cheering. It was all SO exciting. It was a great time in my life.
