BOSTON -- Lined pages with a doodle of the Liberty Bell and a CIA document outlining a Mafia-connected plan to assassinate Fidel Castro for $150,000 are among thousands of Robert F. Kennedy documents now publicly viewable.
The documents are from 1961 to 1964, during Kennedy's tenure as attorney general. The National Archives and Records Administration and the John F. Kennedy Presidential Library in Boston released them Thursday.
